Dahil sa tumitinding karahasan sa sinasakop na teritoryo at ang digmaan sa Gaza ay opisyal na nagbitiw sa pwesto si Mohammad Shtayyeh na Punong Ministro ng Palestine noong ika-26 ng Pebrero.
"The decision to resign came in light of fhe unprecedented escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem and the war, genocide, and starvation in the Gaza Strip" ayon kay Shtayyeh na nagsumite ng kanyang pagbibitiw sa Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday.
